Vecima Networks Inc., based in Victoria, British Columbia, announced the successful acquisition of Akleza’s CableDiag Proactive Network Maintenance (PNM) platform along with certain related assets. This strategic move is expected to enhance Vecima's Entra Intelligence suite, which utilizes artificial intelligence to optimize broadband access networks. Following the acquisition, CableDiag will serve as a foundational layer within the Entra platform, significantly bolstering its capabilities. The CableDiag software is currently deployed in over 25 cable operators and is responsible for monitoring more than five million DOCSIS devices, working across various CMTS and vCMTS platforms. Vecima's leadership believes that this integration will provide real-time analytics and improve network maintenance, offering better service to consumers throughout North America and potentially beyond.
