RPX Gold Inc. has reported the results of its gold assay findings from the Wawa Gold Project, located in Ontario. This announcement comes as part of its ongoing drilling program slated for 2026, which is designed to inform a prefefasibility study focused on potential mining operations in the region. The company has completed 25 drill holes, amounting to a total of 4,336 metres drilled to date.
The results indicate useful findings, including an intersection of 1.87 grams of gold per tonne over a length of 35.10 metres. These findings are a continuation of the company’s exploration efforts, with RPX Gold indicating that it has now reached approximately two-thirds of its intended drilling meterage for the study. Furthermore, they have outlined that they aim to complete a total of 20,000 metres as part of their drilling initiatives in 2026.
The data collected from this ongoing drilling campaign will play a critical role in shaping the results and conclusions of the future prefeasibility study, which seeks to evaluate the economic viability of mining operations at the Wawa Gold Project.
