Hannan Metals Limited has completed the second and final set of assay results from its diamond drill program conducted at the Stavaträsk gold project located in the Skellefteå district of northern Sweden. The exploration program comprised a total of seven drill holes, accumulating 1,040 metres of drilling intended to test an area with a 650-metre strike length. The results show that gold mineralization was present in all drilled holes, with some high-grade intersections reported.
The most significant result from the recent drilling includes a 4.6-metre intersection grading 7.2 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, which features a subsection of 0.7 metres at 21.4 g/t gold. The mineralized zone was consistent and displayed encouraging results that support further exploration in the region.
Following the completion of this program, Hannan Metals has announced plans for an Induced Polarization (IP) survey to further investigate the potential of the area. Additionally, the company is preparing for a 1,000-metre follow-up drill program to expand on the findings and continue to explore the Stavaträsk gold project’s possibilities.
The results from this drilling campaign are significant not only for Hannan Metals but also for the prospective development of gold resources in northern Sweden, an area known for its mining potential.
