The Minett Resort Village Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for water and wastewater systems was initially completed in 2008. Given the time elapsed since this initial assessment, 2084311 Ontario Limited, the proponent, conducted an Addendum to the Class EA. This Addendum was necessary to verify if the previous conclusions and solutions were still appropriate for the projected demands of the community. A Public Information Center was held on April 22, 2026, at the Minett Firehall, where community members were invited to learn about the findings of the Addendum and raise any concerns or questions regarding the water and wastewater systems. The engagement with local residents aims to ensure transparency and ongoing communication regarding environmental and community planning issues.
