Westhaven Mining has announced recent drilling results from its Shovelnose Gold Property, located in southern British Columbia. Two key drill holes, SNR26-117 and SNR26-110, have provided promising data on gold and silver mineralization at the site. Drill hole SNR26-117 returned a noteworthy result, with 10.04 meters grading 12.18 grams per tonne (g/t) for gold and 103 g/t for silver. This discovery extends the high-grade mineralization below the deepest mining stopes anticipated in Westhaven's preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for 2025.
Moreover, drill hole SNR26-110 confirmed the presence of robust mineralization over a wider interval, returning 37.34 meters with grades of 6.24 g/t for gold and 55 g/t for silver. These findings are critical as they validate the company's ongoing exploration strategy and enhance the potential economic viability of the Shovelnose project. As Westhaven continues to assess the extent of mineralization at the site, these drill results may have implications for future development plans and investor interest.
