Yukon Metals Corp. has announced the completion of a comprehensive UAV aeromagnetic survey over its AZ Copper-Gold Project, located in Yukon. The survey covered 400 line-kilometres with a line spacing of 25 metres. This project is 100% owned by Yukon Metals and is situated approximately 6 km west of the Alaska Highway and 36 km south of Beaver Creek.
The purpose of the aeromagnetic survey is to identify and analyze untested convergence zones, which may provide insight into the geological potential of the site. The innovative use of uncrewed aerial vehicle technology allows for detailed data collection across the expansive area of the project, promoting efficiency and accuracy in the exploration process.
Yukon Metals intends to use the data obtained from this survey to refine its exploration strategies and enhance the understanding of the mineralization potential in the area.
