Throughout this period, the reports have indicated that the overall forest fire hazard in northwestern Ontario is mostly described as low to somewhat moderate. However, there are significant concerns regarding specific areas in southwestern parts of the region that are classified under high fire hazard conditions. This situation highlights the continuous monitoring and response efforts by AFFES to manage and mitigate the impact of these wildfires in the region.
