Metal Energy has announced plans to commence its initial drill program at the Highland Valley Copper Project, located in British Columbia. The company received a multi-year, area-based Mines Act drill permit in July 2026, which authorizes the development of up to 50 drill sites and the construction of 11.7 kilometres of new exploration trail, along with 80 line-kilometres of geophysical surveying.
The scheduled drill program is set to begin in October 2026 and aims to test six priority targets. These targets have been identified through extensive geophysical and geochemical surveys conducted both historically and in more recent times. The execution of this drill program is significant for Metal Energy as it seeks to enhance its exploration efforts in the region, potentially increasing its understanding of the mineral resources in the project area and advancing its development plans.
