Metal Energy is gearing up for its initial drill program at the Highland Valley Copper Project located in British Columbia. The company has received a multi-year, area-based Mines Act drill permit, which was granted in July 2026. This permit allows for the setup of up to 50 drill sites, the construction of 11.7 kilometres of new exploration trails, and 80 line-kilometres of geophysical surveying, crucial for the project's development.
The initial drill program is currently slated to commence in October 2026, where the company plans to target six priority areas. These areas have been identified based on extensive geophysical and geochemical surveys conducted both in the past and recently.
