Westhaven Gold Corp. has announced the completion of a resource infill drilling program at its Shovelnose property located in southern British Columbia. This program consisted of 117 holes, amounting to approximately 37,242 meters of drilling focusing on the South Zone gold and silver deposit. The company reported notable results, including intersections of 23 meters grading 6.69 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold and 42 g/t of silver, indicating high-grade mineralisation in the area.
In a separate development, GoldHaven Resources Corp. is advancing its drilling initiatives at the Magno site in British Columbia’s Cassiar District. The company reported reaching 3,000 meters of drilling and is particularly focused on high-grade silver-lead-zinc targets. The geological characteristics observed at Magno share similarities with those of Coeur Mining’s Silvertip deposit, which may indicate promising prospectivity for GoldHaven.
Both Westhaven and GoldHaven are actively continuing their exploration programs, aiming to expand their understanding and resource potential within their respective properties. The advancements in drilling and exploration activities are anticipated to provide valuable insights and support future development projects in the region.
