PharmaCorp has successfully completed two significant acquisitions in Western Canada, thereby strengthening its operational presence in the region. The first acquisition involved a pharmacy operating under the PharmaChoice Canada banner, which was finalized for a purchase price of $1,300,000. This transaction is subject to customary post-closing adjustments, a standard practice in the industry to address any potential discrepancies after the deal is completed.
In addition to this, PharmaCorp has also concluded the previously announced acquisition of prescription files from an I.D.A.-bannered pharmacy for $475,000. This acquisition, like the first, is also subject to customary post-closing adjustments. With these acquisitions, PharmaCorp’s network of pharmacies has expanded to include a total of 17 locations, enhancing its service capabilities and market presence in the sector.
The expansion is part of PharmaCorp's broader strategy to strengthen its position within the Canadian pharmacy market and cater to the growing needs of communities in Western Canada, where the company focuses its operations. These transactions reflect PharmaCorp’s commitment to enhancing its healthcare delivery through strategic growth initiatives.
